Day 1 – Pick up, Transfers and Boat Safari – Safari to Nyerere National Park
Early in the morning, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam to begin your journey to Nyerere National Park. Along the way, you will stop for breakfast in Kibiti town before continuing to Nyerere. Upon arrival around midday, you will check in at Africa Safari Camp for lunch and refreshments. Later at around 16:00 hours, you will head out for an exciting boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you will spend about 2 hours exploring the stunning scenery and wildlife. After the boat safari, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Meal plan includes: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments.
Day 2 – Full Day Game Drives of Safari to Nyerere National Park
With packed breakfast and lunch, you will leave early in the morning to start a full day of game drives exploring Nyerere National Park. Being one of the largest national parks in Africa, Nyerere has a lot to offer in terms of wildlife viewing and beautiful scenery. Game drives will continue throughout the park covering different areas of interest, with breakfast and lunch taken within the park. After the game drives, you will head back to the camp for sunset viewing around 18:30 hours. Dinner and overnight stay at Africa Safari Camp. Meal plans include: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments.
Day 3 – Walking Safari and Transfer Back to Dar
At around 06:30 hours, our guide will pick you up to begin an exciting walking safari outside Nyerere National Park. The walking safari takes about 2 hours, allowing you to experience the wilderness up close. After the tour, you will return to the camp for breakfast before starting your drive back to Dar es Salaam with a lunch stop in Kibiti town. Upon arrival in Dar, our team will transfer you to your hotel, marking the end of your 3 Days Safari with Watu Safaris. Meal plans include: Breakfast, lunch and refreshments.
