DAY 1: Flight to MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK and evening game drives
On this day, take a domestic flight from Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park via Dar es Salaam. The flight departs at 09:30 hours and arrives in Mikumi at 12:00 noon. Upon arrival, your safari guide will welcome you at the airstrip and transfer you to your accommodation for check-in, refreshments, and lunch. Later in the afternoon, enjoy exciting evening and sunset game drives across the park while spotting incredible wildlife and breathtaking scenery. End your day with dinner and an overnight stay at Park Cottages, Vuma Hills, or another selected accommodation facility within the park.
DAY 2: GAME DRIVES and flight back to Zanzibar
Early morning of this day at around 06:00 hours with packed breakfast will leave for sunrise game drives for about 2 hours before breakfast break taken within the park. After breakfast will continue with game drives around the park to cover other areas of interest looking for wild animals. You will have lunch break within the park and thereafter will be transferred to the airstrip to take flight back to Zanzibar at 15:00 which will arrive in Zanzibar at 17:00 hours.
This provides you with enough time to connect to any International flights going out of Zanzibar.
