3 Days Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara National Parks
Day 1 – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. You will be served with lunch at picnic site, then in the afternoon enjoy another game drive of Tarangire National Park. During the dry season, Tarangire is spectacular in its Concentration of wildlife. Many of the migratory species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River, from which the park derives its name. Predators and Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants and elands. Having enjoyed watching flocks of animals, after this wonderfully safaris drive to the camp.
Dinner and overnight at Olea Africana lodge
Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After arrival around 8:00 hrs you descend into the Crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunchon the crater Floor. Ngorongoro Crater is often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the Big Five can be spotted during one game drive only. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 3 – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast you’ll drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for your first game drive. This beautiful park combines an alkali lake covered with flocks of pelicans and flamingos with African savannah and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees. Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and a variety of antelope inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippos. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an “Acacia tortilis” tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species. Lunch will be served at the picnic site, after lunch drive back to Arusha.
